Tim Cook letting it be known Apple Streaming Shows are gonna be ABC-level tame:

Apple Taking Conservative Approach, Rejects Dr. Dre Streaming Series As Too Violent – Report

Cliffs:

- Dr. Dre's show was cancelled because it was too violent and had sex (an orgy)
- Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoons show was "toned down" at the script stage
- Whitney Cummings had a show that had #MeToo themes that was cancelled because it's "too sensitive"
- Shyamalan has a show but was asked to remove crucifixes hanging in people's houses
- Writers are being told if their show has violence or nudity don't bring it to Apple
- Apple is using Tim Cook's personal tastes as a barometer and he likes shows like Madam Secretary and Friday Night Lights

So how does this approach vibe with:
Rob McElhenney & Charlie Day Comedy Lands Straight-To-Series Order At Apple

I tried to watch this show, but I wasn't about to subscribe to CBS service to just to check out 1 show.

Is this on Hulu?

Not that I'm aware of, it's on Amazon prime

But I wqtched it on Kodi
The show is centred around a black firm and it takes a dump on trump

Nothing in the description of the show sounds “adult”.

“the cutting-edge comedy is set in a video game development studio and will explore the intricacies of the human condition through hilarious and innovative ways.”

With what we know now about Cook and his approach it sounds like it’ll be Silicon Valley without the curses.

“Expensive NBC” indeed.

Can't imagine those dudes writing some King of Queens or How I Met Your Mother style of humor.

They’re writers. Writers adapt. It could be more like Better Off Ted from a few years ago. There’s a lot of space between Sunny and KoQ.

Even if they had a green light to be raw why would they just write “Sunny in a Games Office.” I expect they’re smart enough to know that showing diversity in comedy/writing style = longevity.

I have a feeling that Comcast is going pull NBC produced shows from Hulu sometime in the next year to start their own streaming service. Especially with Disney owning a majority of Hulu.

If they start their own service then they'll probably drop their licensing deal with HBO that allows HBO to air their movies.

The domino effect of Disney buying Fox will end up affecting the whole industry by the end.
