How does it compare to the movie?Mayfair Witches is right up my alley. AMC did a good job with Anne Rice’s Interview With A Vampire adaptation, so I’m excited for this.
I believe the show is quite faithful to the tone of the books while attempting to do its own thing. There were many changes but all done tastefully and it enhances the show! The books are quite dark and the show does go “there” in a number of different ways. Lestat and Louis are in a relationship and this is implied in the books but not the film. There are a lot of black people in the cast as well, including Claudia. The actress playing her was quite good! Don’t want to spoil too much but it’s well worth the watch IMO.How does it compare to the movie?
I know you said movie but I’m a fan of the books. I’d say the series was on par with the movie, if not better in some ways. Jacob Anderson was amazing as Louis. How does it compare to the movie?
