I dont think it's anything wrong with laughing at our situation a bit.

I only get upset that we really never gave jimmy a shot. We searched for a package from minny that didn't come at 1st then we did a patch up job with wade and Rondo and then a mid season trade for cam Payne smh. Blowing it up was always the plan but garpax played it as if they were really trying. Then everything that could have went wrong with tanking went wrong.

I'm good though because the buffoons who messed it all up is gone now. I said before we blew it up it was dumb to give garpax yet another shot at building something and inevitably they drove us into the ditch.

The problem is the slander ain't directed at garpax. It towards the current Bulls. I think everybody knows that garpax wasn't on shyt but it's not like they're still employed. It all just comes off as ill-timed in my opinion especially considering where the Bulls are now.

i dont really feel anyway about the Jimmy move, GarPax would have never been able to build a team like this around Jimmy

he averaged under 20 ppg against the Celtics on not so great shooting %'s - we needed him to give us 40 just to steal regular season games against the Hornets (funny enough, thats what we now need from Zach)

overall, still happy with the return we got, but we do need Lauri to become relevant again

Idk. Seems like some fans just love wallowing misery. :patrice:

I think we can all admit that the Bulls and Jimmy are in a better place now. I'm happy for Jimmy, but the trolling kinda corny to me. It just wasn't meant to be with the Bulls and Jimmy. :manny: The Heat have an elite culture and organization. Probably one of the best in the league. Way better than what the Bulls had so I don't understand what all this crying is about.

I got a lot of shyt by some people here because I didn't like the trade back then. A lot of people here were on there we need to rebuild loser bullshyt. I wanted winners on the team and Jimmy was a winner we could build around who the team drafted and developed. I'm tired of watching them lose when it didn't have to be that way. We're no better now then when Jimmy left aside from actually having a competent front office now. I don't see any of these guys we have now as winners except for Coby. Zach can score, but he doesn't win. I'm going to talk shyt and bring it up because I'm tired of the losing culture and mentality. Especially if he goes on to win a championship.

He wasn't going to win here but if you just want to bytch to be right online is the perfect place for it. Jimmy old news the current team and getting better is what is the concern personally but you and others can do whatever you want. More power to you.

This is where the hypocrisy comes in for Bulls fans. The same thing that people used to say about Butler is being said about Zach and some and some of these other players. People blame Jimmy Butler's failures on garpax and Hoiberg, but when it comes to this roster, everybody just swears up and down that it's the players and that they aint gone never be shyt because they can't succeed with garpax and Boylen. The truth is nobody was winning shyt with people like garpax Hoiberg and Boylen running the show. Drose Butler, Zach. It don't matter. Also, let's not act the Bulls weren't losers with and without Butler. I get that you're a Butler stan, but we can't sit up here and do revisionist history that.

What are you talking about? They made the playoffs his last year with the Bulls and those shytty coaches they had. They were playing .500 ball with sorry management and coaches. Nothing revisionist about it. Add a few solid players around him and you could have built a winner instead of this weak ass rebuild we've been suffering through. Jimmy was a good player who put in the work to improve. GarPax was running the show when Rose was a rookie and Thibodeau were having some of the best records in the league and missed the playoffs only one time in 8 years. They drafted Jimmy when everyone else wanted Marshon Brooks and if you paid attention you could tell the work he put into get better. You could tell he was about winning. Even in the season they missed the playoffs they had a winning record. We were doing fine and now we're stuck in 7th pick hell. Yeah sorry I have a problem with losing(rebuilding). I won't keep going back and forth with you on this. I said why I feel the way I do and you have too. We'll just have to disagree.

I get moving on but it's just some light hearted jokes centered around jimmy brought up because jimmy is in the finals. I personally like some of the pieces on the roster and like where the team is at currently with the new front office and coach. We finally got a pick that wasn't 7th. I get the frustration if jimmy didn't just reach the finals. But he did it was going to be brought up either by one of us or a heat fan.

Nah I get the jokes but I don't understand the people legitimately acting upset over that trade because the current team isn't winning. It's like beating a dead horse at this point. Trying to count our players out because they can't win playing for Jim Boylen is wild. All I'm saying is give the new regime a chance. I wish Jimmy luck on his finals run but garpax aint the Bulls no more so as far as I'm concerned that aint got nothing to do with us now. :hubie:

I don't consider struggling to make the playoffs in a weak eastern conference and losing in the first round to be successful but to each their own. The bar is being lowered because that's your favorite player. All I'm saying is that it's hypocritical to judge this roster in the same way because they were playing for a worse coach than what Jimmy had.

That's where you're dead wrong...getting rid of Jimmy led to us finally ridding ourselves of Garpax...that in itself was worth its weight in gold...

This team with Garpax at the helm did shyt like bring in Washed Wade and Rondo to build around Jimmy... And trading 2 draft picks for McDermott...We were going nowhere...no cap no quality picks it was time for a change period.... I wish Jim the best but sometimes you gotta destroy to rebuild :yeshrug:

So you're saying that keeping Jimmy means we would have kept winning and GarPax would still be here. Thanks for making my argument for me.

nikkas in here crying about the "glory days" of struggling to win 39-40 games just to get bounced early in the playoffs :mjlol: yikes

Nobody was calling it the glory days. So sit your silly ass down with that bullshyt narrative. At least if you make the playoffs you have a chance. Nobody had Miami making the finals. I guess they should have just tanked since nobody had them winning shyt this year using your loser logic. I get it you like watching losing basketball. I don't.

I'm done with this discussion.
