Deni is nowhere near Luka
Or even Gallinari

More like a poor man's Batum

Dude shot 59% from FT and like 31% from 3
That's terrible

Sure he can pass decent but can he guard 4s? Or get to the rim

Not a fan, hard pass

I'm pretty all in on Hayes...not as flashy as Ball but he can shoot and get to the rim. Needs to learn to use his off hand better but they said the same shyt about Harden in college

Sources: Bulls eyeing assistants still in playoffs

No permission was necessary for former Brooklyn Nets coach Kenny Atkinson to interview, but new executive vice president of basketball operations Arturas Karnisovas and general manager Marc Eversley are talking to several assistant coaches still involved in the playoffs, including Milwaukee's Darvin Ham, Denver's Wes Unseld Jr. and Miami's Dan Craig, sources said.

Among the assistant coaches granted permission to talk to Chicago from eliminated teams, sources said: Dallas Mavericks assistants Jamahl Mosley and Stephen Silas, Philadelphia's Ime Udoka and one candidate -- Minnesota associate head coach David Vanterpool -- whose team didn't qualify for the restart, sources said.

The Bulls are also interviewing current assistant Chris Fleming and could also meet with assistant Roy Rogers -- both remaining from former coach Jim Boylen's staff, sources said.

Bulls need playmaking, this cat main weaknesses can be fixed dude can pass and shot 42% from 3 with that awkward shooting form on 5 attempts a game :dahell: Lauri,Zach and carter need this , Coby more of a Jamal Murray type guard

I don’t think LaMelo will still be on the board at 4.regardless Trade down or draft this cat or deni or go get my dog lonzo :wow:

& hire ham,Unseld jr or Udoka to be the coach and the bulls will be on the rise wit a gang of cap space summer ‘21

I dont want a better version of Jerian Grant

I'd take Hayes all day over a dude who cant get to the rim. Passing skills dont mean much if you cant break anybody down off the bounce

From the Athletic:

Craig started in the Heat’s film room, seemingly a rite of passage in Miami’s homegrown culture. Like Heat coach Erik Spoelstra before him, Craig slowly worked his way up, filling various roles before being named head coach of the Sioux Falls Skyforce, Miami’s G-League affiliate, for the 2015-16 season. Craig guided the Skyforce to a league-record 40-10 season and the championship. The following season, he re-joined the Heat as an assistant and has since been pegged by Pat Riley as head coaching talent.“He’s got a great voice,” Riley told Fox Sports Florida in 2015. “There’s a great countenance about him. If you ever watch him drill players or coach players, teach players or talk to players, especially on the court, he never fumbles his words. He knows exactly where to place the players. He knows what he’s saying to them. He puts his hands on them in the right way to move them from one place to another. And he’s very coherent in his delivery. When I’ve watched him in the summer league, his bench management, his game management, is very good.

Hayes is fine at that spot because of his skills and age but he has his major warts too from the tape I've watched... Right off the bat to me his handle looks incredibly loose... dribbles way too high and looses control way more than what you would expect from a "lead guard".... His shot from 3 doesn't drop and his form changes throughout the game and his left hand dependency/lack of athletic burst causes issues finishing from what I noticed something I don't see with Halliburton ....instead of just changing hands at the rim to create the easiest attempt he contorts his body into these weird positions because he's not confident in his right...now these are things that could be cleaned up BUT he definitely has his issues and red flags...plus I feel like we already have two offensive focused guards already and if you think Hayes can just be that much better than Zach or Coby alright draft him but idk if I'm sold...I just think Halliburton gives us something different while being able to work off of both guards we have

On my early tape watching I think my top 5 picks for that 4th slot looks something like:

1. Ball (High Ceiling/Low Floor... Biggest boom/bust player)

2. Halliburton (Solid glue piece two way guard that can play next to either Coby or Zach)

3. Onyeka (More athletic and defensively versatile on switches than WCjr)

4. Hayes (Good size/combo guard)

5. Vassell (3&D wing with good size)

If everything stays put with our pick and we come out with anyone of these guys I'd be happy with the outcome

I agree Hayes def has flaws, I think theres just more upside there. Halliburton is just to blah to justify being picked top 5....I'd rather just pick up a cheap caretaker vet PG and draft Okongwu or Josh Green.

I'd even be down to trade down in this particular draft, see if you can two rotational players, a wing and a big

The more I watch Vassell, the more I like the pick at 4. The teams needs athleticism and he is a good shooter with instincts on D.

I wish he attacked the rim more and he has to improve at the line

Yeah you hope his wiggle and handle improves at the next level... Ironically he may be a Otto Potter type without the bloated contract..which we could use...kind of Mikal Bridges esq.... If he developed his body and handle he could be a nice fit

I wouldn't be mad at either of these options... I actually think at this moment Okongwu should be our guy but idk if that type of player will go high because of all the hype about spacing...I want Josh Green on this team somehow too... Maybe Boston would trade those first for #4 so they can get a Big?

I don’t know much about these top prospects. Obviously biggest need is at the 3 but AK said he’s taking BPA

Trade WCJ to Boston for they pick
Pick Okongwu to replace WCJ and draft Josh Green with Boston pick

I don't think WCJ is valued like that...but I think if we gave them our 4th for their 3 1st (14/26/30) I would probably do that.....
