Earlier this morning on 670 The Score’s Mully & Haugh Show, Karnisovas mentioned the Bulls young talent and said his sights aren’t set on another rebuild:
“I’ll do my best to do a quick turnaround. I kind of stay away from the world rebuild. This roster is the second-youngest roster in the league, but they have a lot of talented guys. My main thing is to take time right now to get to know each member of the coaching staff, of each department, to get to know the players.”

Karnisovas tried to acquire Lavine at the trade deadline for harris, hermangomez & Beasley.

I'm not trying to be, I agree with y'all on Boylen being a bad coach, I just don't think it will make any difference. There's just so few coaches in the league that have really been impact coaches. Very rarely do you see a coach go to a losing team and take that same roster and turn them around, and I really can't think of any in this current climate that have done that outside of Steve Kerr, but Mark had them in the playoffs already, and he had 2 future hall of famers on his team.

I guess it all depends on how much you value the locker room culture of the team, but I think for almost any team that's losing they'll have a poor locker room culture. :yeshrug:

The Nets former coach, Kenny Atkinson had the team playing hard with rookies, cast-offs, and g/d league players. He is great a development.

I'll agree with that although to me the difference maker was them acquiring an All-Star to be in the offseason leading up to that season and overall good roster building. They made roster changes to help him out, but he did do a good job I'll give him credit.

Oh i definitely agree, and the Bulls are much better base to work with (sans Kyrie and KD) that he has ever had. He would be at the top of my list as a bridge coach for a couple years to develop they guys until they figure out what they have and what they want to do with it.
