this shyt is funny to look at now but hammer did his thing and did it big....he truly should be in all west coast GOAT conversations but is barely mentioned at all....
a legit question is why is that?
I think alot of ppl associate Hammer with ATL for one reason or another, moreso than the Bay area.....also Hammer isnt looked at as a all-time great b/c he'll always be tied into the Vanilla Ice era. The baggy outfits, the funny haircuts, the dancing, the pop inclusion and being "safe"

Then came the Funky Headhunter era where he changed his whole wardrobe to be look more street and he did harder raps and more explicit videos. It was hard to take him seriously at that point.

And falling off the way he did didnt do him any favors to be able to represent for the Bay. Then when people found out he'd blown like $30 mil and was bankrupt it was over.

But he gave alot of people from his neighborhood chances to make money.

You dont remember when Hammer was puttin on for the Falcons? This was during his bright-suit Addams Family era. He was hanging with Deion/Rison back then, he did their team theme song and everything.
