actually when I look at the first half of the dress I see white & goldThe smaller the picture gets, the easier it is to see black and blue. Example:

I'm not sure how it works when it's the same size of image and people still see different stuff... But it's obvious black and blue is easier to see in a smaller version.

Yes! That's because the collar of the dress is really noticeable gold. While the fringes of the dress may be mistaken for black for a distance. And it is a blue tinted white, so when you look at the bottom half, that may create a black/blue effect.
