I'm asking you what's the difference. In Syria, the folks whose families that Bashar Al Assad murdered probably see Al Qaeda as heroes. We learned that lesson in Afghanistan. Just because the west sees the Taliban as terrorists doesn't mean the people do. The majority of the people welcomed them in with open arms.

You think you're intelligent, you think you understand geopolitics, but you're too retarded to understand that the situation on the ground isn't based on ideology. It's based on reality. Who was committing the atrocities before the big bad US came into existence? We are one of the youngest nations on the planet. All these other nations have been here and they have been committing atrocities and war crimes for eons and eons, and you absolve them of their historical and present crimes, when you cannot point out one place on the planet where the people have the rights that Americans have.
