They made Scott Hall look like he was 3mb status during the wwe nwo run :mjlol: they had Austin whip his ass from the backstage to the ring for like 20 mins..then had hall agree to drink a beer with him afterwards only to get stunnered :dead:

Revisiting 98 Nitros, about halfway through. I must’ve been almost checked out of WCW by now cause I don’t remember a lot of this shyt…like the formation of the Wolfpack.

I just remember tuning in and seeing Sting and Luger wearing NWO shirts and thinking it was wack and turning back to Raw.

How the hell you got Luger and WCW franchise savior Sting side-by-side with Hall and Nash calling themselves NWO? :stopitslime: I didn’t even know Macho Man was in it at first. :dead:

It may have been over or whatever but I couldn’t rock with a bunch of white men and a Mexican in their 40’s acting like teenage whiggers and that cheesy generic west coast g rap theme music. WWE had the juice back by then.

This never happened though

Watching Fully Loaded 2000

Taz and Al Snow had a good lil match :pachaha:

That Rikishi splash off the top of the cage is underrated like a mug :ohhh:

They should’ve been showing that clip for the next decade but after it happened, it was never really shown or talked about again.

I pulled up the Mid South show from 81 and it's crazy seeing JYD in his prime. I know Meltzer used to kill him in the observers about how bad his physique fell off but I thought he was just hating. But damn JYD was damn near built like Ahmed Johnson back then.

WCW really had Bret Hart cutting promos in early 98 talking about “i know what its like to be screwed and i’m here to make sure it doesnt happen to anyone else”.

Meanwhile Bulldog and Anvil getting slumped back to back weeks by Rude/Hennig

Kanyon was lowkey one of best workers of the late 90’s.

It’s crazy how many good wrestlers WCW had on their roster in the Nitro era.

I used to like all those Benoit-Saturn-Malenko-Ultimo-Juventud-Nagata-Guerrero-Kanyon-Booker T-Jericho-Mysterio midcard matches better than Hoegan and Bischoff’s 37 minute promos.

I think a lot of people got back into WWE from switching over during Hoegan promos.

JJ Dillon sucked as a face commissioner.

Scott Hall was legit drunk, not acting drunk on a couple of mid 98 Nitros.

I do not remember the Disciple getting this much burn. :dead: Hoegan was running WCW.

Don’t remember Piper getting this much action either. They ended one Nitro with Hoegan and Disciple fighting Flair and Piper. :flabbynsick:

Sting and Luger being in the Wolfpack was dumb. If there were going to split the NWO in two they shouldn’t have put all the top wrestlers in the 2 factions. They shouldn’t had Luger, Sting, DDP, and elevated someone like Booker T as WCW to feud with both factions.

This Ultimate Warrior return is so cringe and out of place.
