I’m still confused to just wtf is going on with Bret Hart and the nWo.
I'm at April 98 but yeah they really fumbled Bret after SO 98. He was barely even on Nitro and when he'd show up he started feuding with Curt Hennig who was at the US championship level. His character also wanted to make sure nobody got screwed over like he did, but the WCW audience didn't really care much about that

Revisiting 98 Nitros, about halfway through. I must’ve been almost checked out of WCW by now cause I don’t remember a lot of this shyt…like the formation of the Wolfpack.

I just remember tuning in and seeing Sting and Luger wearing NWO shirts and thinking it was wack and turning back to Raw.

How the hell you got Luger and WCW franchise savior Sting side-by-side with Hall and Nash calling themselves NWO? :stopitslime: I didn’t even know Macho Man was in it at first. :dead:

It may have been over or whatever but I couldn’t rock with a bunch of white men and a Mexican in their 40’s acting like teenage whiggers and that cheesy generic west coast g rap theme music. WWE had the juice back by then.

Wolfpack should've stayed Outsiders, 6ix, Macho, and Konnan.
