Was Benoit known as a stiff worker? He be looking like he’s fukking people up. Especially when he has someone in the corner stomping and chopping them.
I think he was considered snug like Regal/Finlay types as opposed to stiff like Vader/Goldberg/Steiners types. Hit hard and make it look like it count but in a safe way. Although he and Eddie were clearly trying to kill each other with powerbombs in their early WCW matches

I would call Austin far from a shill.
He's taken the role of being a guy who uses his star to prop up today's generation, and being that Austin is literally the biggest star the WWE has ever had (save for The Rock becoming a mega star in Hollywood post-wrestling), you can tell the current generation of wrestlers really love having Stone fukking Cold of all people showing them love when the industry is known for the older generation to always shyt on the newer one.
