The paul bearer story was a cool little watch.

That '04 run did end kind of abruptly. They could've squeezed 2-3 years out of paul bearer working with kane(heel) on raw & taker as a face on smackdown.

Undertaker/kane/paul is still to this day GOAT spectacle to ever happen in wrestling.

There's a huge gap between hbk and macho man, I'd argue that even bret and perhaps taker are ahead of macho man there. It's just that crush match was so bad and unlike bret/Backlund it was his last so he couldn't make up for it.
