I watched the NXT Worlds Collide thing last night and had some thoughts:
Is it more awkward to wrestle or do stand up in front of a silent crowd?
You gotta feel for all the NXT alumni guys who commentary all had the same story for: They've had a hard time on the main roster and are looking to see if they still have it.
You can tell who still wants it and who doesn't when you look at their bodies. Compare Harper to Tyler Breeze in this instance. Harper is in probably the best shape of his career, making sure people online knew this was a big deal to him, and put it all on the line. Tyler Breeze is literally in the worst shape of his entire WWE run from FCW to today, looked bored, sad, and tired. What's more surprising is that they gave wins to Harper and Breeze. When they were hyping up Tyler's NXT run, it is really wild how important he was to the early expansion era of NXT (I mean really, he's the guy they picked for Liger, after all) and how he's done absolutely nothing on the main roster but be in a joke tag team doing online comedy skits. I suppose it's easy to not hold it against him that he doesn't particularly give a shyt anymore.
Sanity should get sent to NXT UK. UK needs all the help they can get, but Dain and Wolfe were bigger in the UK/Europe than they ever were known in the US to begin with, and it's quite clear they're never going to get used on the main roster. They got called up after WM last year and have had all of 9 matches on TV, including 2 pre-show matches, and losing a 3-1 handicap match to Miz. Send Nikki Cross, too. Leave EY in Canada.
After all these years of back breakers, I'm amazed Roddy has never fukked up his knee/ankle or had a full blown Sid moment. Speaking of, Dijak is definitely going to have one doing his Fosbury Flop.
