You can also tell that Russo joins the writing team right around this same time as suddenly Austin breaks Pillman's ankle, gets his rampage at the TV studio, Pillman's got a gun angle (all these happen within an 8 day period), HHH gets out of the doghouse and wins the IC title out of the blue (he and Austin had a heel vs heel match at Buried Alive out of the blue as well), tag teams start breaking up, everyone starts talking about Vince being the boss, guys cursing in most promos, dudes shytting on the goofier parts of angles, Vince skirting breaking kayfabe, etc.
