I was watching IYH8 and a Million Dollar Champion Stone Cold faces Savio Vega in a strap match but it wasn't marked. Just in between HBK/Bulldog fukkery and the Vader.Yokozuna match.

Did Savio Vega kill his family too?

Admittedly, I'm a fan of the steroid era myself.

In terms of the way the wrestlers looked, it made it so much more believable as a kid. And then even when a smaller guy got an upset it was believable because he was really was alot smaller than the big guys back then.

If roids were still prevalent, there's no doubt in my mind that a guy like Wade Barrett would've had the strap by the now. He would've had "the look", to go along with the heel charisma/mic skills.

To a degree, I think a lot was the lifestyle and painkillers more than the steroids. But I like that a lot of the dudes now are into crossfit and yoga and staying pretty healthy. There's probably still some juicing going on, but overall the bodies look pretty different.

Would ya'll put that over their Heatwave '98 match? I think I might. It may have been a little slower, but there were more spots and it was a little more brutal. Awesome getting powerbombed out of the wring onto the concrete through the table in 08 was



But in 05 I counted 5 awesome bombs, the chairshots were harder, and then Awesome diving our of the ring, catching his foot and nose diving?

As suggested by @jadillac , I'm watching heatwave 98, and I stand by my statements that ECW for the most part sucked and has aged terribly. Sure, you had decent guys like Jerry Lynn, Lance Storm, the random luchas they would bring in. But the majority of shyt is just sloppy spot fests and boring hardcore brawls. I honestly give it to Paul for taking the company farther with dudes like New Jack, Sandman, Dreamer.
