:russ: at the ending where Hunter was like “It don’t matter now..:francis:” and picks up the chains all casually :pachaha:

This shyt was random was hell..which SD was this?
This is before DDP was revealed in 2001..I think the shows right before Judgement Day 01 which was in May 01 since King of the Ring happens in June.

I have a feeling that, much like 2000 era Nitros, Thunder is going to hold up better today than it did at the time, as it's mostly the undercard of Nitro if it had its own show. Although 2000 Nitros are better now for the :russ: factor than good programming.

I always :what: whn someone names this as one of the best Manias. Two of the best Mania matches ever no doubt, but the rest of the card... Earthquake vs Adam Bomb, Doink & Dink vs Bam Bam & Luna, Men on a Mission vs Quebecers, Alundra vs a super-washed Leilani Kai... ::hhh:
I'm guilty of having that mania in my top 3 at one point, the more I thought about it the more I realized it wasn't worthy of being top 3. It just goes to show you how good Bret vs Owen and the ladder match were all that anyone remembers. They are 2 of the greatest matches in company history

Im watching the 4/28/97 episode of Nitro where Scott Hall calls Flair and Piper (whose 4-5 years older) dinosaurs. Which is hilarious considering both him and Nash were in their late 30's, with the majority of the NWO in the same age range. While WCW was filled with greater talent in their 20s, who im sure felt they were the Dinosaurs.

The irony of all of this the majority of the main roster (WWE- current) is the same age range as the NWO at the time (1997), but more youthful looking and athletic.
