I caught up and giffed March-May of Nitro 2000
The sad thing is how much more energy and crowd interaction these fairly trashy shows with lots of shytty talent and short, nothing matches and absurd and stupid angles have compared to 2018 with probably the best roster in the world. There's so much dumb shyt but it is entertaining, usually. Not always. Jeff Jarrett's promos and matches every week are beyond
. Absolute dirt worst. "First of all, slappy, I am the CHOSEN ONE. I have ALL THE STROKE AROUND HERE. *Lame ass insults* Okay, okay, you wanna match, I'll give you a match, slapnuts. And then I'll prove to you that I AM THE CHOSEN ONE. Now choke on that, slapass." Every fukking week. Multiple times a show. Plus all the backstage segments with his terrible, "You better make this right, Bischoff/Russo" type bullshyt. Just awful.
My memory of how this shyt went down was skewed. I remembered the New Blood being faces at first and the fans just not buying it, but no, the young dudes were portrayed as the heels from the jump for some reason. And it helped none of them. Kidman getting matches with Hogan/Sting didn't do dikk for him except make him look even smaller and since he constantly needed multiple back ups to win anything, it's not like pinning Hogan meant shyt. Real Ass Terry Bollea beat his ass every fukking week
. The Sting/Vamp feud is horrible and Vamp gets his ass beat every week. Mike Awesome can't go a week where he's not in the ring with someone taller than him or getting put through a table. Nash powerbombed him through tables at least twice, DDP and Booker threw him off the stage once, too. Hogan beat his ass in a ECW style brawl. Twice. I think ONE WEEK into the reboot the New Blood started having dissension in the ranks and guys splitting off or turning.
Flair Family saga is too real though.
