I've been working my way through SNME, and god damn, the first like...6/7 eps are dogshyt. The first few are legit some of the worst produced WWWF/WWF/WWE shows I've ever seen, particularly the Uncle Elmer's wedding episode.
"It looks to me like Roots 2, McMahon" "What?" "ROOTS 2!"
Same here... the first one was decent. The others between '85 and '86 were mostly trash. It gets good in late-86, then is consistently solid from '87 on. Same for their PPVs- I don't think they had a good one until Mania III, and that's one of my top 3 favorite Manias. But everything before it was like night and day. The production value and (most of) the booking got a lot better.
Even as they got better, you still had so much garbage like George fukking Steele, Danny Davis, Nikolai Volkoff, Kamala, Bundy, HTM, etc.
I have the first 15 + TME 1 up and giffed now
SNME
Canceled the Network after WM, but they are giving me 3 months for free to come back.
Anyone get the Network survey email?
The only thing I remember from WM6 besides Warrior/Hogan was Demolition winning back the tag titles and that's because I was a big Demolition fan back then. Had to wiki the rest of the card and I don't remember any of those other matches at allI did, but didn't complete it yet.
On another note, WM 6 was dog shyt. Beyond Warrior/Hogan...the entire card was just plain eh
On PAPER, the card looks really good: Demolition/Colossal Connection, Beefcake/Perfect, Piper/Bad News, DiBiase/Jake, Hogan/Warrior... everything was a disappointment other than Hogan/Warrior & Rockers/Orient Express.I did, but didn't complete it yet.

7 of the 15 matches ran under 5 minutes. If that's the case, why even book all those matches? I know, to get the guys a payday, but still... doesn't make for an entertaining show from a fan perspective.
Classic flippy shyt . Looks less choreographed than today's flippy shyt.EDOUARD CARPENTIER killing the biz in 1975
at that Paul Bearer gif. I don't know what I'd use it for as a reply to, but it's too good not to use
