Wow this is a great show.

That handicap match was great...star studded asf and an interesting finish...

Booker t backstage segment and we are NOT getting a boogie man match :blessed:

Cutting edge segment with Foley, Lita has titties OUT. Foley goes FACE FIRST into tacks. All in his face and shyt while he fights edge. I'm not even halfway and the is would be the best raw of the past two years.

And the hbk Shane street fight still pending. I think there's a van terminator in this match. They're showing a Vince hbk promo video that's PPV quality, shows Vince's entire life of assholyness :demonic:

You know what's funny is those revival SNMEs were panned super hard when they happened, but compared to any given Raw/SD now, they're super lit. Kind of similar to how 2002/2003 Raws were shyt on hardcore at the time but watching them back now they have SO much more energy and cohesion in comparison to 2017 Raws. Which is :beli: that 2002 Raws were now 15 years ago. shyt. :mjcry:

I'm a big supporter of the Ruthless Aggression Era so you are preaching to the choir there. Yes, RAW got pretty weak when Evolution was feuding with Nash or an out of shape Steiner but Smackdown was lit af during that era... the SD six along with Lesnar was GOAT level wrestling.

It's why Sasha Banks became a fan

I didn't think wrestling got REALLY bad until after Eddie died, Benoit killed his family and Batista left, HBK retired etc. From the start of the PG era around 2008 until about 2011 is 3 terrible years of RAW. Then it picked up a little bit with Punk but went straight downhill again until Bryan and the Shield and the Wyatts wrestled every week and freshened things up.

Evolution era Raw is actually dope as shyt, tbh. All those rad 6 man tags. HHH's death reign is not nearly as bad in retrospect as it was at the time.

His matches with Steiner and Nash are fukking terrible and the match with Booker is unforgiveable though. I didn't hate the week to week matches/angles/segments as much as the PPV main events that would follow. Hunter was also hurt during this era so it's not all his fault.

Tell me about it.

And yeah, at the time they were viewed as forgettable but damn it's clear every wrestler was GOIN HARD during those shows

The Steiner matches are bad, but I actually quite enjoy the Nash feud, and the WM match with Booker is really good until the ABSURD finish. I just did WM 19 a few days ago and it's a full 23 seconds between pedigree and pin. Austin hits the stunner and has a 10 second delay before pinning Rock and everyone is like :whoo: when Rock kicks out. And take out the HIDEOUS racial implications of the angle, you have HHH saying WCW is a joke. Booker, King, Flair, and JR all agree. Then HHH beats Booker after a ridiculous delay and proves everyone's point that WCW was a joke. Then the next night they have Goldberg debut and you're supposed to take him seriously now. And then a few months later, they want you to buy a WCW DVD.

Jerry Lawler said on his podcast that WWE talking to him about acquiring his part of the Memphis territory library. He only owns the 70's and 90's tho. Two other dudes owns the 80's.

Hopefully they can make a play to get all of it

Cornette said he sold his Smoky Mountain library for 6 figures:whoo:
