I finally re-upped my account

Just some notes on what i've skimmed over so far...

Hell in a Cell 2015
  • Del Rio returned and won the US title from CeGoat. it was electric
  • Lesnar vs Taker was pretty piff near the end. i remember thinking it was trash last year
Survivor Series 2015
  • Tyler Breeze beat Dolph Ziggler clean and no one remembers it LOL
  • Going from Team Cena vs Team Authority in 2014 to Ryback/Usos/Lucha Dragons vs Sheamus/Barrett/New Day is terrible
  • 25 years of Undertaker celebration just to stink up the place versus the Wyatts
Eric Bischoff Documentary
  • Eric is a legend and I absolutely LOVE these behind the scenes documentaries of the Monday Night Wars. I hope they keep pumping these out somehow.

I need some hidden gems to look for. anyone got something for me?

What eras did you watch back in the day? How is your 90s WCW coverage?

Yeah... every segment/match on the Network featuring Benoit doesn't have a stamp. It's the only name that doesn't come up in search. You got a better chance of finding matches including Steve Gatorwolf.

The content uploaded recently will have markers but it will say something like "Triple H competes in a singles match".

Just watched the Bischoff doc... very good stuff in there...

It does raise a lot of great points about WCW and sheds new light on what really killed it more than anything else. Even though there were bad booking moves, bad business, loss of money, wrong people in charge... the real reason it ended was because the people who owned it didn't want it anyway, even when it was on top of the world. It would've been ended eventually because unlike WWE, the people who really ran it wanted it to go away. The one person who was invested in it had no say in how it was handled after the merger.

Bischoff spiraled out of control after they blew up but that dude's still one of the best to do it. It's even more respectable cause he was pretty much the only person that got a chance to run it and actually gave a fukk about it.

Breh, Sid's push was next level at the time. To the point where he was for sure the most over dude in the company shortly after. But that's the thing with Sid: Even-though everyone is well aware he isn't a good wrestler or a good promo, even smark crowds would be transfixed by his amazing look. It's 100% understandable why he got all the chances he got in the business.

Man Norton in Japan was fukking awesome. Dude was an absolute murderer. It's a shame he never caught on in America the same way. If he had started just a couple of years earlier, he would have been pushed huge in any territory. I think part of it is that no top guys in WCW were willing to take the beating that would come with Norton matches. Macho is the only dude who would let Norton do what Norton does to him. They had a match in one of the first couple of weeks of Nitro that was amazing because Norton was basically an unknown and Macho gave him EVERYTHING. Beat the every loving shyt out of Macho. It was great.

And what was even better about him was that he wasn't afraid to bump his ass off for guys, either. If you could lift him, he'd let you chuck his big ass around and drop him on his head, whatever was needed to make you look good. Norton was fukking LEGIT.

I remember being super disappointed that Norton no-showed his match vs Sting in 93 at Slamboree. Nailz wound up being the replacement
