I knew the MSG hug fukked up Hunter's career but had no idea he had a 30 minute match with the champ Shawn Michaels that aired on the Monday before that incident. Seemed they was definitely about to build him up to be the next big star.
Is there before or after his slop match

Just started watching the attitude era Raw's from the start (Dec '97). Amazing to see that they used to advertise UFC PPV's during matches on Raw. Also never knew Rikishi wrestled as Sultan. Just love seing random stuff like that when going back to the past. Oh and Taka Michinoku is actually pretty decent in the ring!

Taka was amazing in the ring breh, I think it was Foley who said "if the WWF was about talent, Taka Michinoku would have been champion"

Check out his match against Great Sasuke at Canadian Stampede '97, shyt was piff :wow:

Watching the Batista I Walk Alone I had no idea DC Dave was a grandpa at like 35 years old:ohhh:

Actually kinda dug it and made me respect the dude. He was one of the reasons I kinda lost interest in Wrestling in the mid 2000s (that and Rock/Austin/Hogan and the like were gone by then and it was all about him, Hunter and the watering of Cena). But now getting back full time more than ever, I kinda respect the story he went through. Also looking back on some of these injury stories from the 2000s, its kinda just reminds how much the DB situation shouldnt seem like the end even if the past year seems otherwise.

That all said, he does miss the it in terms of catchphrases and entertaining promos that the big 3 of WWE history did, had he got that he would have carried the business strongly along with Cena in the 2000s.

WWE is reportedly not in a rush to put classic content on the WWE Network because it isn’t being watched much. According to a source, “almost nobody watches” the older content and that the popular content — unsurprisingly — are the PPVs, the specials and NXT.

Also read: Today’s Streaming Content On The WWE Network (4/4)

Jerry Springer Too Hot For TV show is also popular, as is the Steve Austin-hosted season of Tough Enough. The two most-watched shows of the past week were Chris Jericho’s podcast with Stephanie McMahon and the Roman Reigns WWE 24 episode.
So much for me asking about when thunder/smackdown/sunday night heat/superstars/wcw Saturday night and the ECW with Joel gertner would be :mjlol:added.
How the fukk can they claim that the stuff isn't being watched when I've had older ppvs like Halloween havoc buffering multiple times? It did the same exact thing with the newest wrestlemania when I watched it the day after. I'm on 30 megs wired. I think it just takes more time/money/effort for them to bring out the older stuff.
Only thing new I really watch is the ppvs...I need to catch up on the weekly stuff.

Yeah I have to call bullshyt on the E. You can't tell me people aren't watching the attitude era stuff or some old wcw content.

They at least need to add some episodes of superstars since it was a popular show and a lot of significant stuff happened on it
