I think they did it because it's such a specific era and such a highly demanded one, makes it way easier to find what you're looking for.

And they still haven't put up the Pillman's Got A Gun Raw episode. That was one of the turning points for the start of the Attitude Era.

As I mention the Pillman episode, the next 96 Raw episode they put up is the one AFTER the Pillman episode.

They're adding more of the 96 Raws and hopefully will add more of the ones from 97.
