I'm halfway through this december 97 episode and here's the main thing that sticks out from this era and now: character. It's not the violence or the sex, it's the fact that every damn wrestler on this show right now has a character. And not just some moniker they want to shove down our throats

Word. Marc Mero is the epitome of a mid card dude but he had plenty of character which informed Sable's character and I'm now realizing they kinda had the same character lol..both of the wanted the spotlight and to be the center of attention but because she was pretty girl and he was brute, he was the bad guy.
