Clearly a rip off :troll:

it was though... on a serious tip...presentation is part of the package... if we call DX a ripoff of NWO (which they were) then you have to acknowledge the same vice versa...I wouldn't say Goldberg was a complete ripoff as the character was different but his look was definitely inspired by Austins...

especially since he showed up to WCW looking like this

"the guys that i like never progressed, and because they didn't progress you start to lose interest. Even though they're having good matches, it didn't matter. Because they could win a match or lose a match and it still wouldn't matter.

That cruiserweight episode had to be the most non agenda filled, although it still had its moments of 'its all nWo' they really did give the cruiserweights and their contribution to WCW their well deserved recognition

Yeah but what they didn't mention was at 1st they tired to counter with a fukking midget division!

Also, the fukking point needs to be made that if not for WCW having the foresight to sign guys like Malenko, Beniot, etc. They would have never been taken seriously by the WWF. Let alone get main even runs. Hell go back to the late 80s, it was WCW that brought in The Great Muta and in the early 90s brought in Jushin Thunder Liger.

Watching the latest Monday Night Wars doc and Im just :mjlol: at the WWE acting like WCW was in the wrong to hold cruiserweights and little guys back like the WWE werent fighting and kicking to do the same in recent and current history

Agreed that as much as they wanna bury WCW it aint like WWF thought these guys were stars until much after

Yeah I dont know man, as I was watching it, it came across like WCW didnt know what they had and they capitalized to main event status in the WWE cause Vince saw the vision I was sort of like "Y'all motherfukkers are burying mid carders who dont have the look but put on great matches and go over right fukking now :pachaha:". Also I always wonder had Rock, Austin, Hogan, Goldberg and them all stuck around on full to semi full schedules I wonder how much the others would get a push. Sure they would all get title pushes but the names would still get main event/drawing status still and you'd still have the situation we do now.

WWE shytting over their Light Heavyweight Division but as a kid I loved it. Guys like Essa Rios and Crash Holly. Admittadly if I had access to WCW as a kid (we only got WWF over here) then I can imagine how captivated a young me would have been seing those dudes fly about the ring in their colourful attires and masks. I need to go back and try and re-live this era as in all honesty I've watched very little of the cruiserweights in WCW. Think I'll start with that Rey/Eddie match at Halloween Havoc they showed - that springboard flip DDT shyt Rey pulled out :wow:
