Stephanie McMahon Reveals Why WWE Dropped The Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View

Stephanie McMahon and Booker T recently appeared on The Wrestling Compadres Slamcast and Stephanie talked about why WWE decided to do away with the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and replace it with Fast Lane.
Stephanie said Elimination Chamber was dropped mostly due to the logistics of hanging the Chamber, which weighs more than 10 tons. Many arenas now feature large scoreboards above where the ring would be and they were facing issues with being able to hang the Chamber in some buildings.
Stephanie said the company will still deliver with Fast Lane.

NorthJersey.com reported today that the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, which is the site for the 2015 edition of SummerSlam, may close as early as this month. The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority board is expected to approve a plan on Thursday that would demolish the facility by the end of March. Events already scheduled through March could be moved to Newark's Prudential Center, but it's unknown what will happen to events scheduled after that. WWE has a live event scheduled at the Izod Center on Saturday, January 24th.
