WWE Superstar Titus O'Neil made friends with a homeless man on the streets of L.A. Saturday night ... and now, they're bffs.

O'Neil had some leftover food from dinner ... and decided to hit the streets around his hotel to find a homeless person -- when he ran into John from Detroit.

Titus says, "What was supposed to be a quick encounter turned into a few hours of learning and laughter with a complete stranger."

The 37-year old wrestler introduced John to other wrestlers in town for Sunday's SummerSlam ... and hung out with him in the hotel.

Titus says the two met up again for breakfast this morning and swapped email addresses -- and he plans to stay in touch. O'Neil adds, "Don't look down on anyone and never judge a book by its cover, because you could be the cover one day."

nah with that one she's right

its like imagine if this shyt was a shoot and undertaker lost his match against hogan. Suddenly undertaker is DONE. or if austin after beating up on jobbers finally faced HBK and lost, then hbk has to retire; HBK and austin are both done. UFC builds up guys they think are the future but then theyf all off. Its no coincidence that brock worked so well in UFC beacuse we knew who he was already, then he actually delivered and won the belt...

just stop, breh
this company has no idea what they are doing.
ufc, never got rub from a best picture winning Oscar franchise for its boom.

Regarding last night's main event if all goes according to plan then John Cena will NOT be the #1 star post WM 31. It looked like the king was overthrown in vicious fashion last night.

Lesnar is God-Tier right now and it's tailor made for Reigns to overcome. However Bryan's story is also intriguing as he never lost the title Lesnar is holding. I'd prefer Reigns get the love at WM31 but 8 months is still a long time.

I hope Reigns will be ready by then.

Cena should either midcard and main event when needed or turn heel. John Cena as a face IMO isn't essential anymore with Bryan/Reigns/Ambrose/Rollins/Wyatt/Cesaro all potential top good guys in the future.

Bryan= Cena-lite (Make A Wish, TV appearances) as well as kick ass wrestling ability all around good guy WWE's always looking for
Reigns = stoic, ladies man, badass, also lighthearted at times (watch Reigns outside WWE he's very chill and funny)
Ambrose = lunatic, crazy badass good guy one of the best on the mic
Rollins = death metal, headbanging high flyer, exciting moveset (we saw glimpses of this when the Shield was face crowds ate up Rollins' energy)
Wyatt = dark horse WWE has to be delicate with his face turn can fill in Taker's supernatural role and has gotten a lot better in ring
Cesaro = pick up from where they left off at WM bring back the swing, emphasize his kickass ability in the ring and can be a good international ambassador for WWE with his multilingual background.

Crowds are invested in these six as well as others and I think they are the cornerstones of WWE's fuutre.

Word on how WWE views Ambrose backstage…

- WWE Superstar Dean Ambrose is reportedly not yet viewed by WWE backstage officials as a main event talent. This is despite Ambrose asserting himself quite well as a singles talent as United States champion in The Shield or his more recent feud with Seth Rollins.

Plus how WWE plans to use Lesnar on TV…

- The Wrestling Observer has a report on why WWE Creative opted to book the Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena match at SummerSlam with Lesnar absolutely demolishing Cena.

According to the report, the reason for the starching of Cena by Lesnar was twofold. First, the WWE wanted Lesnar to be seen as a "monster," separate from the rest of the regular WWE roster. The second is that WWE Creative wanted to show Cena not giving up in the match, despite it looking almost impossible for him to win. This way, despite the loss, Cena looked brave for taking such a beating from Lesnar without quitting.

In addition, WWE shot more footage of Lesnar at Raw in Las Vegas this week. This footage will be used on future editions of Raw when Lesnar is not appearing live, due to his limited WWE schedule.
