"Don’t be surprised to see a couple returning wrestlers on Monday’s episode of Raw, which is currently being re-written after Seth Rollins got injured in Dublin. Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Live that with Randy Orton out with a shoulder injury, and Seth Rollins out with a torn ACL, WWE feels they have issues with talent depth in the title picture right now.
Brock Lesnar and John Cena were previously scheduled to return in December, but WWE is reportedly trying to call them for Monday’s show as a solution to their talent depth problem. The way Lesnar’s contract is set up, WWE will likely have to negotiate an extra appearance fee for the former UFC champ since he’s only obligated to work certain dates. Meanwhile, Cena is reportedly working on a TV show right now and his filming schedule may not allow him to appear at Raw.
Rollins was originally planned to be in the championship picture through WrestleMania, but WWE has already confirmed they will hold a tournament at Survivor Series to crown a new champion."
