I like that no matter how deadly Young Brock was that Kurt Angle was able to go toe to toe with him.... unlike today where we got Brock straight destroying everyone on the roster with only Goldberg able to humble him

Vince was actually pissed that Smackdown was doing better than RAW, that's why he sabotaged Smackdown around 04-05, watch them do it to Smackdown Live

Sabotaging everything he did as soon as smackdown drew better ratings. Even the commentary was fantastic. Cole and tazz are calling the match like a legit sporting event with so little attention on storylines and sticking to the match itself. I always felt like they really worked well doing that.

I also liked the fact that back then the Royal Rumble Winner and the WWE Champion was the last match.... and they also gave new guys a chance to shine in the main event. Which is why Orton Vs Bray for the WWE Championship needs to be the last match at WrestleMania 33
