I think NOT being one of Vince's goldenboys really helped his legacy, in retrospect. He was to a point, but he was never treated like THE guy.

If he was rammed down our throats like Cena, Reigns, or even Shawn in 96-97, they woulda fukked him somehow. Similar to how they neutered the Diesel character so bad once he turned face.

i put hogan and mach in my top spot and everyone else pretty much is even to me but hall is at the top of that second group. def in my top 5

i was really really young during the hogan macho heyday so by the time i was old enough to know to watch raw every week hulk was gone and mach was on his way out/

razor became my favorite wrestler at that time. i will never forget the weeks of raw where he won the battle royal to face rick martel and then won teh ic belt. those are prolly my earliest memories of watching rae on my own without it being a ppv at my cousins house. he was my fav wrestler in that period.

i went to school witha kid in 2nd grade who SWORE... Razor Ramone was his father. his last name was ramone so he thought he could work me. fukking mark lol

Even his downfall was perfect.
Funny, I came in to say this.

It's like Scott did everything that the prototypical 1980's-1990's pro wrestler did to the utmost level

His gimmick, promos, in-ring work, and even his substance abuse downward spiral are all a perfect example of what a turn of the century pro wrestler was.

Uncertain grounds
Just listened to hall on austins podcast and it made me wonder if hhh has ever thought of asking him to be an agent or part of the creative team

In the interview he said he didnt care about the money but that was nonsense lol

He definitely should have had a run with the big belt..probably instead of nash in 94

He would have never left wwf and probably wouldnt have been such a drunk disaster under vinces watch

Wondered the same thing, not only him but other wrestling talent. My guess is probably not given the type of writers they imply now and if they did, these loose lips wrestlers would have said so.
