He's a 10 for me, my all time favorite.

Great on the Mic, great gimmicks, was massively over, would either hold his own in the ring or be a standout, great finisher, great striker, great singles or tag team, legendary feuds. It's a crime he wasn't given at least a transitional run.

Contrary to some, I think a big belt could have actually helped him straighten out. He understood the business and the pressure and knew that being the guy meant something. I think he would have been fine as the champ in either major promotion.

10

And he threw me a teddy bear once when I was a kid

he didn't want to be world champ ever

Growing up Hulkkk got me into wrasslin...but Razor got me into appreciating a good heel. He was ahead of the curve as a cool bad guy. Great promo and levels of swag by the bundle. I used to be mad he never won the Main Title but once I got older and read about his reputation then I understood why. Dude is also lethal in any WWE2k. Fall away slam on the steps followed by The Razors edge on the steps... :wow

-Mic work/promos: 8.

-Personality/gimmicks: 10.... Either as Razor in the WWF or Hall in WCW, dude was one of the coolest guys. Laid back, tough guy attitude as Razor and then mixed it up with a comedic/trolling tendencies in WCW. He even came across as cool as the Diamond Studd, even though he was a jobber.

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds): 8. If he was in the right state of mind, he could go. Best solo feuds come from his WWF days with 1-2-3 Kid, Michaels and Jarrett. Best matches were with Michaels (WM & Summerslam), Bret (Rumble '93 & KOTR '93), Rick Martel (IC title match on Raw). Another great match is Macho & Perfect vs. Flair & Razor at Survivor Series '92. His WCW run didn't give him much spotlight as a solo star as he was always attached to nWo fukkery, but he did have a good ladder match with Bam Bam on Nitro on time.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores): 9. He's a legend, but not at 10 level. He has a sharp mind for the business and it's a shame he spent his prime years abusing drugs & alcohol. The last year or two he had in WCW were a huge dropoff. It doesn't look like WCW or the WWF would've ever viewed him as world championship material, and he himself stated he didn't care about titles only money, but I think he was definitely worthy of that spot and someone to build a company around if he was sober. Definitely in my Top 10 of all-time favorites, if not Top 5.

9 absolutely...his own personal demons prevent the 10

Mic Work - LEGENDARY. Even in 2018, a "Hey Yo" would immediately make ANY arena mark the fukk OUT

Personality - LEGENDARY. He was over as the Bad Guy even as a bad guy and his Scott Hall persona in WCW was top notch.

Ring Work - EXCELLENT. The Razors Edge was one of my favorite finishers as a kid and I enjoyed all of his IC runs. He was one of the god damn pillars of the legendary faction known as the NWO.

Overall - 9...fukk man I wish he never fell victim to the sauce and NyQuil and drugs and shyt....fukk :wow:

Take a step back and realize that Hall was SO OVER at one point that Cokeboy brought in a fake Razor just cause he knew he had taken a MASSIVE L

He's a 9 in my book, and the only thing that keeps him from being a 10 is not actually winning any main world titles, mostly due to his own doing. He had everything you could ask for in a wrestler, from character, to general wrestling ability, great themes, it factor, and played a direct role in changing the industry with the creation of the NWO. Couldn't ask for any thing more, other than wishing he cut the drugs out his life. Easily my favorite wrestler ever to not win the World title.

-Mic work/promos - ever since the early vignettes of when he debuted as razor ramon, he has never not failed to get his point across...even when later in his career when the drugs and alcohol took over and it was clear he was faded past the point of no return, his mic work was still there...give him a 9

-Personality/gimmicks - from a magnum TA lookalike to a swagged out tony montana knockoff..what a progression...he bit hard off scarface but he made that motherfukker work...the taunts, the toothpick, the fake accent, the gold chains, the entrance music...he was the coolest motherfukker around...even when he went back to being scott hall nothing changed still remained cool as a motherfukker..legendary gimmick..hell he was even important enough to get his own espn segment detailing his rise and fall...thats some impact right there...full monty...

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) - in his prime hall was a great wrestler...had plenty of dope matches....whether in the WWE with his kliq buddies, bret hart, rick martel, jeff jarrett, goldust, or even bob backlund...in wcw he really didnt do the solo thing as much but he shined with nash in the tag team matches...he was smooth, had a recognizable moveset: discus punch, abdominal stretch with the leg bent, fallaway slam, belly to back suplex from the top rope, and of course the razor edge..give him an 8

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores) - in a right world scott hall should have had world title reigns in the WWE and WCW but unfortunately drugs and alcohol killed that along with the later part of his prime and ultimately his career...he was too damn over and too good in the ring to not have at least a transitional world title reign in his prime...scott was also another rarity in wrestling from the era he debuted in: he was a progressive old head..dude was legit in tune with the younger generation and was not in least bit corny about it...like jake the snake, he has a lot that he can give to the business...as long as he can keep himself straight...but it was inability to do so when it was important brings down overall score from a 10 to about an 8.5..he was too much of an embarassment post wcw and a shell of what he used to be...not a dignified ending but its great though that he has turned his life around..hopefully for good
