I'm giving him a 6 mostly because I hate the Goldust gimmick in wrestling. Why would you be interested in seeing this dude wrestle?

As a talent hes good though, stayed over, and I can understand the higher scores.

Mic-5. Never thought he was a standout promo, never seen any money promos from him. He wouldnt bomb or kill crowds though. His backstage stuff got over.

Ring- 7. Missing a catalog of classics, but he was good. His offense and selling looked good.

Star quality/charisma- 7. I hate the Goldust gimmick, but he stayed over his whole career and made it work. He never had that main event credibility, but he stayed over so he gets a 7.

That is the worst five i can think of right there...idk WHO could crack that terrible lineup

Mason Ryan? Super Calo? At least two of those guys were over big as serious wrestlers on a national level for a full year and have no business as top 5 WOATS

Calo would get points for humor...mason ryan maybe....

The only wrestlers i'm putting on the tier of those five or at least that the coli would...i bet eddie edwards would get an abysmal score here...

Z-gangsta (zeus)
Bootyman / zodiac / disciple / brutus the fukking barber beefcake / ed leslie

Ehhhh, all of these evaluations are for people that have actually been for a bit, or at least has been seen lot in a small amount of time. People like Mason Ryan, Jackson Andrews, Nathan Jones, etc shouldn't even be considered.

Zeus was gully, Virgil has a comedy factor to him now, and I actually liked Brutus as the Disciple. Those might not be guarantees.

There's a lot of indy bums or 90s lower card guys that are way worse on a talent/entertainment level than Bagwell/Orton. Johnny Devine from TNA was WOAT status to name one. I think Bagwells gimmick worked TSC into a shoot.

ive mentioned this before but its a testament to his talent that he made a gimmick like this work to the point where most dont even remember the bland babyface "the natural" dustin rhodes from his wcw days and even more importantly got away from under his father's shadow...hell he even had offshoots of the goldust gimmick imitating other wrestlers and celebs that was entertaining..dustydust i remember thinking that was the full circle moment in his career

his promos as a babyface pre goldust were nothing home to write about; goldust promos were :whew::scusthov::huhldup: and :dame: all rolled up into one..still are matter of fact..gotta give him the full monty

ring work was super solid and above average in his prime and even at like 50 he can still get it done in the ring...whether it was the bulldog, curtain call, or the shattered dreams...i fukked with all the finishers

its a shame goldust never got a world title reign even transitionally or significant time in the world title scene because he definitely earned it...the man practically ushered in the attitude era

give him a solid 8.5

I wish he would get one more big run, maybe as a top heel

I was gonna give him a 9, just cause he's not typically considered to be on the "Wrestling Mt.Rushmore"

But

I gotta give him a 10 because he is a 10 in-ring, 10 promos, 10 personality/gimmick
