9.

My second favourite wrestler of all time.

Original mask, suit and organ theme is the GOAT monster

Had Taker and the roster shook.
:wow:

Royal Rumble gawd
:wow:
Washed everybody when he returned with Bearer.
:wow:

The only man on the roster Lesnar couldn't beat in an armwrestle
:wow:

Weakest link winner.
:wow:

Should have had far more accomplishments and prestige but didn't give a fukk about backstage politics and wasnt a mark for himself.

Nobody has ever had a bad word to say about him.

Streets need that retirement run in the og kit to say goodbye.

7.
If his dominant run from '97-'98 lasted way longer and he was World Champion longer than maybe I'd put him at a 8.

OG Kane was just so fukking great.

7 for me.

Kane is one of those wrestlers that would shine with a dope storyline. His humble beginnings were so miss than hit (Yankem, Diesel, etc), but once he became Kane....:banderas:. Lights going out, that haunting organ theme, and out pops this big ass dude in red and black ripping the hell out of the cell door to give Taker that business. His moveset was exceptional as a big wrestler and his promos....:ld:, but nevermind the talking, this is Kane we talking about. Bottom line, Kane as a wrestler without guidance meh...but as a wrestler with a powerful storyline (Taker/Kane, Unmasked Kane, Team Hell No), dude is the epitome of getting it done:wow:.

10... greatest debut in the history of the business... "thats gotta be.. THATS GOTTA BE KANE!!!" :ohlawd: was on some super micheal Myers/Jason shyt his first year.

we all say he made it work for 20years. but even if he didn't and kane faded away in 98 we would be making threads about him to this day

Prob a 7-8. Kane to me has always been a character of extremes, either he's extremely interesting and involved in some dynamic stuff, or he's just there, or he's in some all time WOAT angles. His backstory, buildup, and debut were one of the best things the company has ever pulled off. I'd say the first three or so years of his career were great, then he hit spots where either he was doing nothing of note or involved in crap angles. His unmasking was the perfect rejuvenation of his character and was a really fun period to watch. After that it's been a lot of :manny: stuff to me. His World title run started off cool but the biggest memory I have of it was that WOAT HIAC so that's not speaking highly of it. Team Hell No is probably one of the best runs of his career and I'd say the last time I enjoyed seeing him on screen, since then he's honestly fallen into the same space I put Big Show in for a while, where I'd rather they just left tbh.

Favorite matches of his off the top are KOTR 98 vs. SCSA, SSeries 97 vs. Mankind, WMXIV vs. Taker, SSeries 03 with Shane, various multiman-tag matches

I can't tell you many memorable promos of his, outside of the voice box being a very memorable prop in his early days and his WHC promos being very melodramatic bordering on cheesy with the background music and lighting.

Now that I type it out, I'd go with 7

7.5 rounded up to an 8

Product of up and down booking and making anything given to him work or at least puttin forth the effort to make it work.

When he was given something good, it was REALLY GOOD.

3 dope tag team pairings

a top 10, maybe top 5 debuts in WWE history

Absolutely 1 of the goat build ups of all time

The aftermath of the unmasking

The modern day mask return [until they fukked it up]

Corporate Kane with unintentional comedy by becoming No Nonsense Kane

Definitely earned future HoF status

8.5

Dude is a spinoff character of a character who also shouldn't have made it out of the 90's yet here we are 20 years later.

Testament to the man Glenn Jacobs who played the character. Even through some of the most horrible booking possible at times he's a guy history is going to be very kind to because he never took himself too serious to have fun and try new things. Gave him that 8.5 off his versatility dude could go from unmasked psycho to comedy with Daniel Bryan and be great at both.

Underrated talker.

8. I miss my nikka :mjcry:

GOAT spinoff character.

One of the GOAT debuts.

Could be used/plugged in to give any wrestler needed credibility.

A part of many really fun/memorable tag teams.

Single handedly made Raw watchable in 03 when HHH made it unwatcheable.
We need more spin off characters

Gives them more depth
