Mic work/promos: 6
When he started out as Diesel in the WWE, he was AWFUL. When he went to WCW, he got better but still was
. He was above average but he had his moments. But he used so many insider terms so he must be cool.
Personality/gimmicks: 7
He definitely found his niche in WCW but constantly breaking the 4th wall got corny pretty quickly. Russo is partly to blame but Nash did that even when Russo wasn't around. Nash had some pretty good comedic moments and had great chemistry with Scott Hall.
Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds): 4
His only "great" matches were with Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels in their prime.
at people saying that he could go in the ring. Nash has even admitted himself that he takes an apathetic approach to many of his matches. He's a businessman, he's not trying to be lyrical.
Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores): 6
When people talk about guys who were marks for themselves, Nash is extremely high on the list. He's the perfect example of how being friends with the right people and having the right "look" can elevate your career to ridiculous levels. Being friends with Shawn Michaels and working with Hogan during his legendary heel turn are some examples.
We also can't forget his ridiculous comments about "midgets" and putting down great wrestlers like Chris Jericho and Eddie Guerrero. As Diesel, he will always be known as the worst WWE Champion in history. Once WCW closed down, he was phoning it in more than usual in his subsequent WWE runs and TNA. Nash would be considered more of a great businessman than a great wrestler.

. He was probably one of the first "cool heels". Had a GOAT finisher as well. A Powerbomb from a legit 7 foot dude is lethal no matter what. Besides his matches with HBK and Bret Hart, I can't really tell you any classics he's ever had, but he has been apart of good matches and classic moments in general, and those are often times more notable than classic matches. What makes me give him a rounded up 8 instead of a high 9 is being taken out with injuries multiple times, and the bad decisions he made while in WCW. NWO was both the greatest thing ever....and the worst thing ever. It injected life into wrestling at a time it badly needed it, and lit the match to put it in the comatose state it's in today. The NWO went from being a cool evolutionary crew to a bloated boring ass crew with various not needed members. Guaranteed contracts was a smart concept on his part individually, but that also led to greed and the bombing of the eventual Invasion story-line, and death of WCW in general. Him and other high paid guys in WCW created a cancerous atmosphere that basically drove WCW into the ground.
The term "vanilla midget" was way too ahead of its time. Guys like Eddie, Y2J, Benoit, Rey, etc. may have been short, but there was NOTHING vanilla about them. The term perfectly describes dudes like M-Dogg 20, Richie Richards, Matt Sydal, TJ Perkis, O'Spreay, etc. whose style plagues wrestling nowadays.
, He has the charisma, the tolerable moveset, and a ok worker when he wants to be
. His earlier wrestling days were what they were like any other wrestler. His Diesel days were alright, to shyt (title reign), to dope (his heel turn/off to WCW run). When he came back to WCW...whooo boy
