something abour Sid...he was almost always over with the crowd.

dude got cheered OVER hogan at the 1991 royal Rumble
got cheered OVER Shawn Michaels at the 1996 Survivor series

even back in his nwa/wcw days in the late 80s he would get cheered over some babyfaces. the crowd loved him and would chant we want sid

overall, I don't know how much of a draw he was...I'd give him a 6

Sid had presence, an imposing look, and an aura about himself. He definitely looked the part.

He wasn't a great wrestler, but with someone of his size, he didn't need to be. He had athleticism too; he could leap from the floor to the apron in one swoop like Lesnar, could kip up which was pretty crazy considering he was 6'9,300+lbs.

Overall, I give him a 7. He was a memorable, one-of-a-kind character

Light 7 for me.

Sid one of those wrestlers that could had made a impact if he stopped moving around from different promotions. His promo skills are strong despite the botches:mjlol: and his moveset is godly for a tall wrestler. Dude made you believe he was THE RULER OF THE WORLD!

Plus that powerbomb:wow:

Mic work/promos - 6
  • He sometimes struggled with promos although he always got over. A weak mic game didnt hold him from getting over in wcw ecw (very briefly) and wwf....

-Personality/gimmicks - 9
  • "AND I....RULE...THE WORLD" Is a slept on GOAT catch phrase.
  • From ANYWHERE HE DAMN WELL PLEASES >>>>>>> PARTS UNKNOWN
  • WHOS THE MAN - a crowd taunt so hard that STEINER STOLE IT

-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) - 5
  • Vs HBK 96 was actually REALLY GOOD and got rid of that fukking loser Jose Lothario
  • Vs sting in 90
  • his entire squash buildup leading to joining the horsemen
  • IDGAF, he was a good enforcer for team madness 2000 before...you know :mjcry:
He is not a good worker but he has a GOAT finisher and always hit it crisp. His entire moveset is kill you power moves and it fit his charactor.

-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores) - 8
I am a huge
sid mark. I have watched a ton of his WCW saturday night TOTAL SQUASHES and somehow they are entertaining...and i loved his turn on hbk and how MSG TOTALLY CHOSE HIM OVER HBK and he LOVED IT at survivor series 96. One of my favorite crowd/wrestler reactions ever. VLADIMIR straight up hugged sid at the end.

Low key he is one of the best "guys" in wrestling history regardless of what management says. He GOT THE HARLEM HEAT INTO WCW and let them sleep in one of his apartments for FREE for MONTHS while they were getting stared. Sid is one of the GOAT.
:to: damn....

Sid was a strong 8 and all he really wanted to do was play softball and kick it with the homies
His game defied categorical breakdowns
If he stayed in one place he'd be a legend
They really just don't make em like this anymore
RIP to one of MY personal GOATs

I rated him 7 but it's more like a 7.5
All time look and ridiculous charisma
Was not a good worker but you didn't really need to be in that era at his size
He got over everywhere though which was hard to do cause he bounced around a lot
