-Mic Work/promos - 7
I still remember a lot of the early Nation promos he cut on Ahmed Johnson, which were pretty risqué during the early stages of the Attitude era. The NOD and that character were a big sign (along with Austin, Mankind, Goldust, Pillman, etc.) that times in the WWF were changing. Still need to watch some of his earlier promo work but I'm going 7 off the strength of those Faarooq Nation promos.

I loved the NOD as a kid. Faarooq as a leader was perfect, and it's really a shame they didn't achieve more success. Had all the talent involved come into their own sooner, I think that might've been the case. Him as a solo guy was fun. Doom were a really cool power duo. APA breathed new life into both his and Bradshaw's careers and the concept of a team for hire in wrestling is something I think should be explored even more, partially off the strength of the APA.
-Ring work (along with some of your favorite matches/feuds) - 7
I have to mention the title win off Vader here. Historic. I truthfully need to see more of WCW and ECW work. His feud with Ahmed, while it didn't set the world on fire in ring wise, was really fun and a shame injuries and eventual bad booking (a fault of neither guy) plagued it. The power struggle between him and a young Rock over the NOD was fun to watch. He has what I would consider a GOAT level spinebuster, I always loved seeing him deliver it. The Dominatior was so vicious too, I still
at seeing him almost murder Jeff Hardy with it like that one gif someone posted in here.
-Overall rating (which doesn't have to be an average of the above scores) - 7
A big part of my childhood, and a staple of the Attitude era in multiple incarnations. A solid power guy who could hold it down in singles or tag, and I've always valued versatile workers like that. It's really a shame given the career he had that his retirement was so...nothing. He literally just walked off TV one night and that was it. The DAMN catchphrase has helped keep him around in comedic roles since then. I think he had the potential to do more, but with the career he had, I'd place him at a high 7.
