Strong 9 from me. Appreciated Sting from his early surfer days all the way to him finally showing up in the WWE. His TNA run was even interesting. Got to showcase quite a bit. Pretty much a good all around wrestler, easily identifiable moves, had a lot of charisma, and though he didn't have many standout promos, it was always and event seeing him. He was the foundation of WCW, and when you hear the letters WCW, Sting is probably the very 1st person people think of. Without Sting, the NWO would never have had a true foil to play off off, and the WWF would not have kicked off Attitude either. He's apart of classics and legendary programs, and anything less than a 9 would be a travesty. He played face roles great, played the loner anti-hero as teh foil to the NWO to perfection, and played a surprisingly good heel in TNA. I liked the fact that he stayed away from the WWE as long as he could, and though it was great seeing him there finally, I kinda wish he just didn't show up. They did everything they could to make him look bad, force another weak HHH notch on the belt moment, and basically used him as the final nail in the coffin for WCW. But Sting took it like a professional as he always has. That was probably his biggest attribute and biggest flaw at the same time. That's a reason you never hear anything bad about him, everybody loved him. He always did exactly what was best for business, and i can't be mad at anything he did.

:salute:

Im gonna preface this saying we didn't get WCW in Australia till 1996.

@puppetmaster youre one of the goat posters

Mic work/promos: didn't see the dude cut a promo for over a year. When I finally heard his voice he sounded like a surfer from California, which sounded awkward against his gimmick of the crow

-Personality/gimmicks. Dude scored high here, gimmick was piff, rolling down from the rafters to save Ddp every week while the Nwo cowered away.

-Ring style; first match I ever saw him in was with hulkkk at starrcade. He did much better in tna before he put the tshirt on and was booked horribly in the E

-Overall rating: 6

Edit I know dudes top 15 all time I just never saw his prime :manny:

A solid 8 for me.

I dont believe his inability to draw as the WCW babyface was on him. Mitigating circumstances of how the company was plays a big deal. His ability to wrestle decently well into his 50s is underrated.
One thing that gets forgotten about his WWE matches was he actually wrestled decent. Yeah I know people make a big deal about the Rollins injury but before that he was doing some good spots. And people try to make a big deal about how sloppy his scorpion death-lock was on that Raw taping on Rollins but it looked ok on Triple H
