8. Probably a 7 but I was a WCW stan.

Mic- 6. Stro was right in that the corniness was endearing at times. His promos were corny as fukk. "You're gonna get banged! I'm gonna bang you!", "SCUM!", sh1t was so goofy watching it now, but as a kid his promos excited me because he had a good delivery. He was good at portraying that he was the underdog, despite some terrible content.

Ring- 8. He wasn't that athletic, but his timing was good and none of his sh1t looked bad. His great WCW catalog of matches (thriple threat vs Raven and Benoit and vs Goldberg are the best imo), plus the Diamond Cutter puts him at an 8.

Star Quality- 8. He was missing that true, elite main eventer thing about him. Maybe it's that he didn't have the athleticism or viciousness in his work to make up for the not looking like a true Taker/Goldberg/Hogan main eventer. Still, he had a lot of charisma as an underdog face and the diamond cutter sign is one of the GOAT wrestling gestures.

Them Diamond Cutters :wow: :banderas:

The pop he got when he was revealed to be the stalker :damn:

That buildup after the reveal and that fight was fire.

DDP actually had a great catalog of matches. He really had the slimy heel act down perfectly in 1999, and he was a solid promo. And his matches with Goldberg, Savage, Sting, and Benoit were all classic.

I gave him an 8.

agree..dude really worked his ass off from the bottom to be damned good..and the diamond cutter is one of the GOAT finishers along with its variations (the Diamond Death Cutter was my favorite)

Imma give him a 9.:ehh:

DDP had that coolness about him that only a select few possess.

I think he was a solid worker. Mic skills were on point. Definitely one of the most underrated and underappreciated wrestlers of the 90s.

Some of his best work was during the decline of wcw. Obviously his wwe run was forgettable.

Dude was arguably top 5 as a face in the 90s. Major player during the height of wrestling's popularity.

His diamond cutter set the stage for others to use the move. One of the most popular finishers of all time.

He doesn't get the credit that he deserves.:yeshrug:

Lex was SUPER over in the Spring/Summer of 1997. There's no denying that at all. Just watch the shows.
He was never more over than Sting

Matter of fact Meltzer brought up some interesting stats about Luger just the other night :sas2:

Luger was definitely huge, but even as a kid I was ":ld::ld:" about him. There were just so many other people more appealing than him, both face and heel.

If you ask me he wss very underatted
When he first showed up as a manger to a guy coud barely wrestle and he improved greatly throughout his career and could work as a great manager and in ring.
Imao he was almost wcw stone cold in a way
