Trying To Improve My 1.5mile/2.4km Run Before Joining Air Force -- Suggestions??

It all depends my trade-in the army is a electrican I'm fully trained but I just never touch my trade. So when I go to leave I have the certs but no experience. It largely depends where you get posted and what your unit specalises in

I didn't train at all before I left for the Air Force and I did just fine. We only had one person in our entire group that had to do the final test more than once.
