Kind of useless to do it if you don’t like the food options.

Keto isn’t magic so if it’s doesnt adapt well to your life still find another path.
Facts. I did keto for a month and disliked it. I had high cholesterol so there were a lot of items I was hesitant to consume because while I may have leaned out, I may have inadvertely increased my cholesterol numbers.


Highlight of my keto diet

Melted down an entire square of cheese and ate it for breakfast :hhh:

Hated how I looked on keto


But I went


4 whole Eggs, 1 slice of Swiss cheese, sliced and dried up green peppers and 4 pieces of bacon omlet (breakfast) with a liter of water

Lunch / 6 Oz of 80/20 beef / handful of almonds lunch / cup of spinach with generous amounts of grape seed oil and parmesean cheese with liter of water

Dinner was Salmon and spinach with oil/ Parmesan cheese and a liter of water


Snacks were basically Siracha almonds (which are a GOAT snack)


Dropping weight was real easy on that diet but I looked skinny fat and wasn’t a happy dude in general.


If you’re obese and just need to get down in weight to avoid being put on meds then keto is dope but coming out of that diet can be a bytch for real.

black coffee
diet coke
salt, various spices and seasonings, without gluten or sugar or wheat
once in a while, fruits as treat(like dried dates, bananas, ripe plantains, or apricots)

anytime I did Keto I lost weight quickly, looked great and felt great for the first few months, got all the benefits but no matter how much i stayed hydrated and supplemented i always got the keto flu....took a multivitamin like someone suggested...still felt nauseous, could barely stay focused, started sleeping longer than usual, felt super constipated....had to throw that shyt in the bushes for good.

now i just juice and eat vegan on and off....i'll go a week eating straight vegan and the rest of the month just eating normal while still keeping it healthy. i feel way better...and going full vegan is a goal of mine. i just need to read a bit more on it and learn a few more dishes before i make that final step. actually i think im gonna go on Amazon now and buy one of those cookbooks.

Why are people so anti carbs... this is like a man being anti woman, we are literally designed to run on carbs.

In fairness that swing is understandable. There is not enough carbs and too many, gotta find that right balance. Having been in the rabbit hole of trying to figure it out, i get it.
