Most of the people who heard these things are his family members or close associates. So of course they're not going to expose him until they have a personal advantage in doing so.


But Woody Guthrie wrote a song about how racist Fred Trump was all the way back in the 1950s. The federal government prosecuted Donald and his father both for racism twice in the 1970s. The Urban League tried to bring another lawsuit against him for racism in the 1980s. Black pastors took out a full-page ad calling Trump a racist in 1989 after he said the Central Park 5 should be executed. One of Trump's own casino presidents exposed him as a racist in a tell-all book in 1991. Trump was accused of racism again when he cut all the Black investors out of the Gary casino deal in 1993, then he was sued by Black workers for not hiring Black people for that same casino. Native American groups called him a racist against both Natives and Blacks during their legal fights in the 1990s, and one of the Congressmen at Trump's hearing on the issue said it was the most racist testimony he'd ever heard. In the 2000s, Trump repeatedly suggested that The Apprentice do a "Black vs. White" season. Then in 2011, he was one of the biggest proponents of the Birther conspiracy theory and was constantly taking all sorts of other racial shots at Obama.
