History or not, for those of us who live in Chicago, especially on the south and west sides,please tell us what's the alternative? Please provide me with some concrete solutions because as it stands, there are areas you cannot walk through regardless of the time without either hearing shots or catchin some.
I have a house close to 79th and cottage on the SS, and 5 out of 7 days of the week someone gets shot up or shot at in the area. Not to talk of spots like Englewood or East of Stony Island where it's open season. An OG Disciple on my block was telling me how these new young thugs have some shyt called TGIF, where on fridays they target random old folks walking on the street and beat them down
.You got good blocks with nice properties and hardworking families that are generally flanked by a couple bad blocks with a lot of abandoned properties that are converted trap houses. These dudes be posted on the block 24/7 and if they beef over territory, innocent folks get caught up. So once again I ask you WHAT IS THE ALTERNATIVE???
I hear folks like you and Tariq Nasheed talking about how it's a conspiracy and all that but truth be told 80% of the killing in these areas are done by nikkas. You can't even go to the black clubs anymore without shots being fired. Call me a c00n or whatever but if I come back to America and see feds patrolling the streets and it makes it safer for me and my family to walk back to the crib from the Metra station at night then I'm for it
It's either that or we clip up like the Huey Newton Gun clubs brothas down in Texas. But that's another can of worms.

The issue is deeper than "gun crime". You have people infiltrating and importing from outside the community. Who are these drug kingpins and crooked law enforcement? Because they sure aren't people of color AKA Black.

I do think we need some type of order also. Let the Black military troops and vets police those "violent" areas. Harvey AKA SUPERBOY spoke on this issue several times. He lives in Chicago.

You spoke well but once again, instead of name calling why not offer solutions? How do YOU think we can solve this problem? What are YOU doing to help young black brothas and sistas not get caught up?? Based on your statement it's obvious you're not from the Chi, correct me if I'm wrong.
But you offering your condescending, outside looking in perspective with absolutely NO solutions doesn't help the families who lose husbands, sons, daughters and mothers to this violence. Everyone has an opinion, which you are entitled to, but unless you're willing to come to the city and roll your sleeves back to help, you should just keep your opinion to yourself cuz it ain't helping nobody.
