I think saying something like "Oh Dems still would have lost" is looking at it incorrectly. If an attempt was made, it should be punished. Also, in terms of such low turnout from Dem voters. It would help if you actually followed the chain, especially since you put forth the question of what's the difference of the claims now vs. the claims in 2020.
The cause for concern that the election was rigged back in 2020 was Trump purely throwing shyt at the wall and seeing what sticks; Democrats didn't do anything untoward to suggest there was any election tampering.
The cause for concern that the election was rigged in 2024 is legitimate because we know Elon ran interference, running a racket to get marks to vote for Trump, with the promise of giving $1m. That's the level Conservatives would stoop to in order to get votes, so it's only natural for folks to be concerned that they've could've done something on a greater scale than that.
