To some very very mild credit it seemed like quickly "ending" geopolitical conflics was something he was heavily fixated with. He wanted a major peace deal in Korea. He wanted "better relations" with Russia. But for all the wrong reasons. Just to maintain his pompous image as a grandiose deal maker who can quickly get things "done" and just to see the words "Trump" and "historic" next to each other. The man didnt actually give a fukk about solving these complicated issues. Just getting a "win." When North Korea was willing to entertain the a$$hole for their own propaganda purposes for nothing in return, they played him like a fiddle and Trump was just happy to have a glorious headline. If Israel was willing to do the same thing and give him a big orchestrated "historic meeting" photo-op that means nothing more than his own political gain, he would've been content with that too.
The man wasn't truly interested in putting in any of the work to solve major geo-political issues. Hes just an opportunist who wanted the headline and the adoration. Any article about something Trump wanted to "do" should always be seen through the lens of his ego, narcissism and self-interest. The man doesn't have an empathetic bone in his body and doesn't give a fukk about the suffering of others.
