He should have never been in a position to have to do it in the first place. The GOP made up an issue and trumped up some charges for him when they have members of their own party that did the same thing and they turned a blind eye. At most Hunter should have gotten probation and that's probably why Joe just let it ride and said he wasn't going to interfere. But then when they started talking about giving him actual jail time and then talking about doing ANOTHER "investigation" into Hunter... at what point do you sit back as a father and let that ride. He's lucky Biden didn't actually send the FBI to investigate all of their kids and find dirt on them to bring to the public.
