because whiteness in America is purely and solely defined by operating in opposition to blackness. We as an entity will always be their boogeyman. And it is the only way they can ever galvanize their actual base - poor white people. Because the only thing that keeps them in line and voting against their own interests is to continually push the fact that black people are the enemy and it is better to be dirt poor and white than to be middle-class and black.
Because it is better to have nothing as long as the black people have less.
it has been the playbook for as long as American history stretches and will continue to be. Because once they can't define themselves in opposition to us, they have to accept that they have little identity, and even less in common with each other across state and class lines. They find togetherness in attacking us, and without that... they'd be forced to attack each other. And they'd tear each other apart without the standardized fear of black folk.

They HAVE to point to the very side of Kamala she herself never rides with as a contentious point to circle around. Because it's not like any of them are going to sit down and look at policy and tendency and come to a non-emotional decision.
Because if they could do that, most of these people would have been changed their views considering the policies of the red camp are so bipolar there's something in there targeting every single person somehow. But they ignore the things that hurt them because they have been given a proper villain.
