What does #BothSiders have to do with this. Were you somehow under the impression that we didn't think things would get worse for black people:gucci:

It’s not.

The two party system in this country has been outdated for years now as you literally can have one party holding the entire country hostage if they don’t get there way.

It was never meant to be that way and you’re full of shyt if you say otherwise.

These clowns don't know their history.

It was racist Democrats who inspired the Southern Strategy. By catering to white racist and using voter suppression against black people. Then after years of negotiating with those same people who were oppressing us. I guess we took a liking to liking to,and became eternally grateful to the white liberal for taking his foot off our neck.

White Republicans knew that blacks aligning with Dems now would make racist whites reject Democrats. So the Republicans adopted the Southern strategy of appealing to white southern racism. They started to win again and haven't looked back since.

So what do you think Dems might do if they keep getting Molly whopped in elections:sas2:? As long as white racism is allowed to be pandered to to win elections. It really doesn't matter how many parties you have. All 3 or all 10 will eventually be vying for the hearts of white racist. If that's the temperature of the dominant demographic in this country. They will do and say what they feel they need to in order to win.

Create a bill to take race baiting out of elections and see how quickly both sides protest.

This is what's caused black people to have zero autonomy in the political process. Not to mention to be attacked by republicans:respect:

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was literally signed when they were two major parties

and that's just on the federal level.

:mjlol:another dude playing a role
The world then isn’t what it was now is it?

You’re also overlooking how lobbyist and corporations have much more of an influence now than they did back thing.

I tell you about posters on here that are always shouting as if they’re right :mjlol:

I never once said that they didn’t.

Reread what I said instead of trying to play smart.

But your original bullshyt point was "major change doesn't happen under a two party system!"

which is easily proven to be not the case

that's what we're arguing about.

Now, can you tell me how many parties there were when the ACA was passed? Use that brain of yours. This is a easy one.

That’s literally not what I said :mjlol:

What I said is that the two party system has been outdated for a long time now. The things you said doesn’t change what I said because the Trump Administration and MAGA has completely changed the set of circumstances in how things are operating.

It's an abridged version of your overall point

No it’s not. You wrongly assumed based on what I said and tried to sound smarter than you really are :mjlol:

I don't care about sounding smart on a forum

you do.

and what you said, was easily disproven, and now you're trying to flip the script

and argue for the sake of arguing, and that shyt ain't working. Just like you're doing now.

If the Democrats ever regain control of the Federal Government I never want to hear about incrementalism and the political process ever again. Dems will bicker amongst each other and slow walk policies and programs that can better this shythole but this jackass gets into office and immediately starts throwing tangibles at his base, even if they are contradictory. Spoils are being given. This man is pardoning 1500 men and women that would have been shot or hung for their crimes a century ago. Dems better take notes, all that political decorum is dead, there's no pretending anymore. The next Democrat that sniffs the Oval Office better be opening the Federal purse on DAY ONE.
The next Democrat in the Oval Office is unlikely to have a fully blue government...or have the temperament of a Trump.

There’s is no flipping of the script.

I’ve been consistent on my feelings about the two party system on here for years now and stand on it.
