We should start charging American gun owners who's guns illegally end up in Canada, and are used in a murder with murder. Most of the guns on our streets are illegally brought across the borders. I agree that they got to figure out a way to make sure Americans is gainfully employed, and not on some gig work shyt

But I don’t know about manufacturing being the way to give Americans jobs, they need to educate, the same way they would tell us to buy Americans made products, they need to put the money up to educate American kids and hire American workers

its a supply and demand thing. Most humans are stupid so thinking everyone can be white collar isn't smart. The issue is what can the common person do that doesn't require college or deep thinking that can at min net them a place to stay and be able to buy food and have transportation.

All this shyt yields into higher cost for goods though so this is why I`m like which one is it one second people want livable wages next second is keep illegals and don't do tariffs because I like my shyt cheap.

AI/Automation will lower dependence on needing jobs for basic shyt and companies will have bigger profits, where cost of goods will still increase due to greed but likely not insane amounts.
