The first 2 years of Trump's presidency, I would cringe and then confirm crazy or off the wall stories about him. There were only 3 times in those years when the story didn't check out. In fact majority of the time what Trump did or said was worse than what I was told.
Past 2 years it's not even worth trying to confirm because he went full dictactor.
Having said that, even by Trump standards this is puzzling. I was trying to figure out his angle or what kind of pressure he's trying to put on the next administration by doing this.
i'm sure those soon to be murdered inmates see a bigger distinction.Biden is trying to abolish the death penalty according to that article. literally 13 days could mean the difference between life and death for those 4 men. and i seen too many people get exonerated lately to trust that one or more of them isn't possibly innocent.

That'll make 13 inmates he's had executed since July. If these go through then he'll have approved more executions in his tenure than any other American president in the last 130 years.
Lame duck executions....and we'll see who's gonna get his upcoming pardons too.

Not since the waning days of Grover Cleveland’s presidency in the late 1800s has the U.S. government executed federal inmates during a presidential transition, Durham said.
