Damn the motherlode:wow:

Cant disagree with him on this one. Keep dropping bombs and send no troops in there and we good.

They gonna be extra motivated to attack the homeland now tho.:francis:
Now? Why now? The United States has been doing this type of shyt on the daily for the last 16 years. And it's not like Americans would be the only potential targets they would go after. Do people forget that Turkey, the UK, Canada and the rest of the NATO gang are fighting in this war too? And don't get it twisted, the U.S. is still deploying troops in Afghanistan all the time. They're just not actual members of the U.S. Army. Instead they're private contractors and mercenaries with little to no accountability and no social safety nets waiting for them back home....if they don't get killed in action that is

Did we want isis out or not?

I say keep them coming
ISIS exists because of America's perpetual wars in the Middle-East.
Their largest recruiting technique is harping on damage caused during the Iraq War to brainwash young men who witnessed their villages getting crushed first hand.

You're an absolute, bloodthirsty, moron.

Trump's just trying to start shyt to go into Iraq. Putin's probably in on it.
So much for 'keeping America safe' by banning the refugees...I've already pointed out how sending soldiers to die in these wars is going to cost more American lives than if we let Syrian refugees into the country. But instead, Trump wanted to create a pressure cooker situation - get a lot of easily antagonizable victims in a small vicinity, then start unleashing hellfire from above to stir the situation into becoming a lot bigger than it is now, so he can go start Iraq 3 and 'Get the oil from ISIS'.

well whats the use of calling it the most massive non-nuclear bomb? Why have all that mass if the destruction doesn't match?

It's a "Massive Ordnance Penetrator" used for busting bunkers.

From the Air Force official sight.

Mission:
The Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) is a weapon system designed to accomplish a difficult, complicated mission of reaching and destroying our adversaries' weapons of mass destruction located in well protected facilities. It is more powerful than its predecessor, the BLU-109.

Background:
Flight tests have been successfully conducted at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. MOP integration activities for initial weapon delivery are also complete. The Air Force is managing and funding the program at this time, with Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) providing support.

Early tests of MOP were conducted by DTRA under the MOP Technology Demonstration effort. These tests began in 2004 with DTRA partnering with the Air Force Research Laboratory. DTRA conducted flight tests from 2008 to 2010. In February 2010, the DTRA MOP Technology Demonstration transitioned to the Air Force as a Quick Reaction Capability Program. The tests are designed to test and demonstrate MOP capabilities to attack hard and deeply-buried facilities. The Air Force has had a long-standing requirement for this capability.

In 2009, Boeing was awarded the contracts to complete MOP/Aircraft integration. This entailed minor modifications to the MOP and to the aircraft. There were a total of 20 contracted.

They dropped that bomb on cave complexes, doubt there were any civilian casualties. Regardless, I'd rather these countries did their own part fighting terrorists instead of us using our own hardware.

This strike wasn't targeted at ISIS, it was targeted at the Taliban. If anything, this helps ISIS out because the Taliban were one of the few actually fighting against them in that region :mjlol:
Got a source for the claims you're making?

Because it has a very specific use case of busting bunkers and fortified compounds.

We literally have never seen and (god will please hope to tha lord) we never will see the level of destruction that Nuclear bombs have...I don't think anyone alive can even truly fathom the level of destruction.

This is all a show of force towards NK, China and perhaps Russia.

A lot of people are taking this war shyt for granted. In many ways we're poking a lion that we think is behind a layer of glass at the zoo.

When you really think about war, in these modern times it's very scary and uncertain.

The tech that China has been developing using deep learning/artificial intelligence that they put on their missiles which nullifies stealth is some next level technology, not to mention their hypersonic arsenal and anti-satellite shyt.

I'm sure we got some shyt too, but would love to avoid this shyt altogether rather than provoke anybody.

Can't bomb our way to peace when we have rivals who can and will bomb back. We all lose then.
