Bernie's own party didnt undermine him. He's not a Democrat. The DNC stacked the deck against Bernie so an outsider couldn't come in and win their nomination. Hillary was going to get the benefit of the doubt because she was politicing since she lost the primary in 08. Played the game, toted the water for the sake of the party, so she was going to get the benefit of having all the DNC on her side.
He ran as a Democrat. By extension, for this race, that was his party.

Not to mention, more importantly, many of the Democrat constituents were way more aligned with Sanders than Clinton. So it's not just Sanders they undermined.

With the way the DNC did Sanders, what the fukk is the point of a primary? They may as well have skipped the formalities and just had Hillary's coronation. It's bullshyt. If the Democrat's constituents wanted Sanders, why should the DNC deny them that?

You are not a Democrat just by saying your are. Bernie did nothing for the Democratic party prior to the primaries. Why would the Democratic party allow an outsider to win the nomination?

And this is coming from someone who voted for Bernie during the primary. I'm just outlining why I am not mad nor surprised at what went down with the DNC. And you shouldn't either.

Because that is how the primaries work :wtf:

Where is this loyalty requirement documented? If this is how it actually worked Bernie would not have been allowed to run in the primary in the first place.

So you're happy to be disenfranchised of your primary vote? People should accept a primary process that's a complete sham? :dahell:

I get how this is good... great even.... for people within the DNC and establishment candidates. My question to you is how this gross disenfranchisement is better for US.

sanders supports were able to forgive clinton... 4 years is a long time to hold a grudge.

Not the same level of hatred. Trump supporters really, really hate Ryan and there is no Trump like person to say  "Look this person is worst". The GOP is fractured between far right and center right politicians.

If Trump is blown out worse than McCain his supporters won't have enough leverage to doom the Establishment and Ryan. They already tried to primary him and the challenger lost by 60 points and Wisconsin right wingers detested Trump. I would not be surprised by a repudiation of Trump, the GOP field ignored him thinking that he would fall by the wayside and get his supporters but if his supporters are not enough to win a general election their influence will wane. Ryan was like the 3rd choice for that position after all others had flamed out, they had such a public meltdown because after toppling Boehner they had no credible choices left until the position just fell on Ryan's lap.

How was anyone disenfranchised? You're going to prove 3-4 million votes (thanks for the correction guys) were stolen from Bernie or just throw out baseless accussations. No one was prevented from voting for Bernie. He wasn't part of the establishment and didn't get establishments blessing but at the end of the day, people need to get to the polls and vote and as I highlighted, the young vote vs young voter enthusiasm didn't match up. They underperformed for their boy, particularly in southern states.
